Had a great time yesterday at the Holy Trinity Church of Detroit’s annual Fish Fry. It was a festive opportunity to connect with Wayne County voters and others. The event was held at the Gaelic League Irish American Club on Michigan Avenue in the Corktown area. One of the special treats was talking with a group of retired school teachers and administrators from Westland.
People are discussing our platform and our momentum for the office of Wayne County Executive. As I travel throughout the 43 communities, people are telling me that they are tired of the corruption. They want someone to fix the mess.
As a budget-balancing and union-friendly Democrat who has gotten the job done in Westland, I’m ready to hit the ground running as Wayne County Executive.
