I was very glad to join a packed house for the 11th annual Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner last night. Congrats to entrepreneur Saad Abbo, owner of U.S Ice Corp, who was recognized as Businessman of the year 2014 and to Sister Philip Kirma, Mother Superior of the Chaldean Sisters, Daughters of Mary Immaculate, who was chosen as Humanitarian of the Year.
Congrats as well Fr. Frank Kalabat from St. Thomas Chaldean Church who has been named the New Bishop for the Chaldean Detroit Diocese.
Another impressive event by Chamber President Martin Manna and Chairman Paul Asker (Paul is a former Westland business owner.) I also ran into Mojo and Slim from the 95.5 FM Morning Show. Great people, great event!
